BOJIONG Four-wave Interferometric Sensor was developed by a team of professors from Zhejiang University and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. It combines diffraction and interference to achieve a common-path four-wave transverse shear interference. It has super detection sensitivity and anti-vibration performance and does not require isolation. Vibration can realize real-time, high-speed dynamic interferometry. The Four-wave Interferometric Sensor has an ultra-high phase resolution of 260,000 phase points, a measurement sensitivity of 2nm, and a measurement repeatability better than 1/1000λ (RMS). It can be used for laser beam quality analysis, plasma flow field detection, real-time measurement of high-speed flow field distribution, optical system image quality evaluation, microscopic profile measurement and quantitative phase imaging of biological cells, etc.
The working principle of the Four-wave Interferometric Sensor is that the wavefront to be detected is diffracted by a randomly coded mixed grating, producing a total of four diffracted lights in two orthogonal directions. These four diffracted lights interfere on the imaging surface, and four diffracted lights can be obtained. The wavefront transversely shears the interference fringes. Advantages of the four-wave interference sensor: single optical path interference, super anti-vibration performance, no need for reference light, simple layout, no need for special interference devices, quick and easy adjustment, real-time imaging without phase-shifting process, especially suitable for high-precision in factory environments detection. It is suitable for the 200nm~1500nm band and supports the Customized Four-wave Interferometric Sensor in short-wave ultraviolet, far-infrared and ultra-far-infrared special wavebands.
